MLB player Props Today
Shohei Ohtani To Hit a Home Run (+154 at Sportsbook)
The number isn’t amazing, but this is still the best way to bet Ohtani on Monday. He’s 4-for-9 lifetime against Mets starter Paul Blackburn, who makes his season debut after returning from injury. Ohtani has homered in four of his last 10 games and looks poised to go deep again. Most of his other props are way too juiced, so while +154 is on the short side for a homer prop, it’s the best value available on a light slate.
Jeff McNeil OVER 0.5 Total Bases (-150 at Sportsbook)
McNeil has been a bit of a forgotten piece in this Mets lineup, but he’s heating up at the right time. Over his last 10 games, he’s posted an .895 OPS with a .500 slugging percentage, and all we need here is a single.
The veteran is 2-for-3 lifetime vs. Dodgers starter Dustin May, with a single and a double, and while it’s a small sample, it lines up nicely with his current form. At -150, this is a solid value play in Monday night’s late window.
