MLB Player Props Today: B-Lowe Total Bases (+150)

Today, my MLB player props go for one pitcher bet and one hitter prop. I'm fading a successful starter at good value, then backing one of the AL's hottest hitters.

Below, find our best MLB player prop bets for Monday, May 26, 2025:

MLB player Props Today

Michael Lorenzen UNDER 4.5 Strikeouts (+120 at Sportsbook)

I wrote a bit about Lorenzen in my NRFI picks today, and it got me thinking. Lorenzen utterly dominates active Reds hitters, holding them to a sub-.300 OPS in 32 at-bats. Most major Reds hitters have had four or five cracks at Lorenzen and failed miserably. Yet, through it all, the Royals righty has just five strikeouts (16% K rate).

This doesn't surprise me since Lorenzen isn't really a strikeout guy. He has cashed the OVER 4.5 strikeouts in four straight games, but he finished three of those contests with five strikeouts exactly. His Baseball Savant page also indicates his only true strength is his lack of walks, meaning his Ks come mostly from volume strike-throwing or a poor offensive approach.

In the end, I'm taking a shot at the UNDER 4.5 strikeouts at +120 at Sportsbook.

Brandon Lowe oVER 1.5 Total Bases (+125 at Sportsbook)

Lowe is hot, especially over the last week or so. The Rays second baseman has enjoyed a swell seven-game stretch, during which he owns a 1.211 OPS with 10 hits, including three homers and two doubles. Lowe also owns a .909 OPS in May, showing how locked in he is.

Monday, Lowe draws Chris Paddack, an unreliable righty with a penchant for allowing hard . I like his chances for OVER 1.5 total bases, plus a flier on a Lowe HR at +300.
