MLB Player Props Today: Believe In Big Dumper

Today's MLB player props are in. I'm starting with a matchup-based bet in an AL game between the Sox and Mariners. After that, we will turn to Kansas City, where an unknown hitter could make our day.

Below, find our best MLB player prop bets for Thursday, April 24, 2025:

MLB player Props Today

Cal Raleigh OVER 0.5 Total bases (-150 At Sportsbook)

It's time to acknowledge Cal Raleigh as a premier hitter. He's flourished as a power hitter and is arguably the best-hitting catcher in baseball. On Thursday, he draws a more favorable matchup than the books have predicted.

Crochet is hot. He's leading in AL Cy Young odds and looks like a beast in his new Sox uniform. Still, Raleigh is a lefty-masher, plus he's 1-for-2 lifetime vs Crochet with a homer. That one homer likely left a good feeling. And if Raleigh can't crack Crochet, he'll get a shot at a Red Sox bullpen that ranks 22nd in baseball with a 4.47 ERA.

Hunter Goodman OVER 0.5 Total Bases (-150 At Sportsbook)

There's an adage in baseball that a base hit a day keeps the pink slip away. Goodman clearly subscribes to that mentality. The unknown Rockies youngster is batting just .235, but he has 16 hits in 20 games, including a hit in seven straight contests. He also has some reps against Royals starter Cole Ragans (0-for-3 with a walk).

Goodman might not be a great player, but he's in a groove. He's worth a shot, as a slap single can get the job done.
