LeBron James 25+ Points
In 28 elimination games throughout his illustrious career, LeBron James has averaged 33.5 points a night. James is knocking down 49.7% of shots in those games, with a true shooting percentage north of 58%. Those are sparkling numbers, and while he may struggle to reach the same efficiency of years' past, LeBron remains a force.
LeBron will be determined to keep the Lakers season going in his age 40 season. He's shooting a wild 50% from the field this postseason, and 39% from three. Expect LeBron to continue to be aggressive in Game 5 with the Lakers in a must-win situation.
While he may be past his definitive prime, "The King" likely has a few tricks up his sleeves for the young Timberwolves.
LeBron James 8+ Rebounds
Similarly to his point totals, LeBron dominates the glass in elimination games. He's averaged 10.4 boards a night in elimination contests throughout his career, and has put up 9.5 boards per game throughout this first round series.
Lebron scooped up 12 rebounds in Game 4, and has grabbed at least 10 boards in three straight games.
James has played an average of nearly 43 minutes a night, while seeing over 15 potential rebounds per game against the Timberwolves and will have no problem scooping up at least eight boards for our parlay.
Jimmy Butler OVER 24.5 Points + Rebounds
According to our friends at Outlier, Jimmy Butler has exceeded 24.5 points + rebounds in six of his last seven games. Butler's averaged 29.4 points and rebounds in that time frame, and has decimated the Rockets all series long.
Butler only failed to sur this player prop line in Game 2 due to leaving the contest with an injury. However, he bounced back with a 27-point, five rebound outing in Game 4, despite playing at less than 100%.
I like "Playoff Jimmy" to come out to play in Game 5 as the Warriors look to close out the series. After all, Butler scored 14 points in the fourth quarter and grabbed the crucial rebound to finish off the Rockets' comeback bid on Monday night. Bet on more of the same in Game 5.
